Located in the entry pavilion of the museum, the Discovery Studio is our newest birthday party room and perfect for medium-sized parties. Custom and Birthday Blast packages are available in the Discovery Studio.
Bay Area Discovery Museum (BADM) members receive an annual $25 credit on any party. Visit our membership page for all BADM member benefits!
The Discovery Studio is available for parties Saturday and Sunday; 10 – 11:30 a.m., 12: 30- 2 p.m., and 3 – 4:30 p.m.
Please note, food and beverage are not included.

Discovery Studio Custom Package
You bring the cake, goodies, and the kids, and we’ll help with setup and cleanup in the Discovery Studio. We’ll also provide a banner, water pitcher, and music*.

Party Size: Up to 40 guests, all get free entry into the museum ($598 value)

Discovery Studio Birthday Blast Package
The Birthday Blast package is perfect when it comes to planning a birthday party for your child, stress-free. We take care of the decorations and provide two BADM staff members that facilitate the arts and crafts table and face paint, so you have time to enjoy the party!
Price: $595
Party Size: up to 15 kids and 25 adults, all receive free admission for the entire day ($598 value)
A Birthday Blast in the Discovery Studio includes:

- Simple decorations and setup

Reservations
To make sure your child’s birthday wishes come true, we recommend booking at least two to three months in advance. Full payment is required at the time of registration. For cancellations, you’ll receive a full refund minus a $100 administrative fee. Parking is free and is available in both the paved and gravel lots next to the museum.
